LT-Innovate Launch in Brussels - 27 January 2012

LT-Innovate - The Forum for Europe's Language Technology Industry was launched at a Constitutive Meeting in Brussels on 27 January 2012.

After agreeing the Forum's organisational Charter, the General Assembly appointed the Steering Committee:

• Jochen Hummel (ESTeam), Chairman
• Paul Welham (Cereproc)
• Adriane Rinsche (The Language Technology Centre)
• Roberto Cencioni (European Commission, DG Infso)
• Philippe Wacker, Secretary General

Additionally, the following were confirmed as Members of the LT-Innovate Industry Advisory Board:

• Andrew Bredenkamp, CEO, Acrolinx
• Stefan Geissler, CEO, TEMIS GmbH
• Istvan Lengyel, CEO, Kilgray 
• Claude de Loupy, CEO, Syllabs
• Michael Mende, CEO, SpeechConcept 
• Ultan O’Broin, Director - Global User Experience, Oracle
• Marco Varone, President, Expert System

A workplan was agreed for 2012.
